This project establishes virtual interactive points along the trail, weaving together local history, ecological knowledge, and community folklore into an immersive narrative. Participants can assume the role of “Trail Maintainer” by joining the “Bellefonte Trail Preservation Committee” and embark on engaging explorations along the trail.

 

This initiative seeks to increase residents’ frequency of trail use while infusing each walk with new meaning and enjoyment, transforming the Bellefonte Central Rail Trail into a continuously revitalized shared community resource.
